EXA 2026: Xipo Zhang Shares Insights on China’s Supply Chain Value for Australia’s Energy Sector

On 11 March, Axiom Edge Solutions’ Managing Director, Mr Xipo Zhang, spoke at EXA - Energy Exchange Australia , sharing insights on how China’s supply chain capabilities can help address cost and inflation pressures in Australia’s energy sector. His presentation focused on how stronger collaboration between the Australian market and Chinese supply chain resources can support more efficient and resilient project delivery.

A key message from the presentation was that the value of China’s supply chain is not simply about labour cost. It is also about ecosystem and scale, including industrial clustering, vertical integration, supplier density, and repeat production, which can improve efficiency, resilience, and project economics.

Xipo also highlighted that successful cross border delivery depends on more than sourcing. It requires strong QA governance, compliance alignment, in factory oversight, logistics control, and local accountability in Australia to help bridge execution and compliance gaps.

At Axiom Edge Solutions, we are proud to help connect the Australian market with China’s supply chain capabilities, supporting our clients with compliance, quality, and delivery across both markets.

Thank you to EXA for the opportunity and to everyone who joined the conversation.
